Our story began in 1978, when Joe and Beth Bucher started hand-crafting fishing lures at their kitchen table in Northern Wisconsin. What began as a small family project quickly grew into a trusted brand for anglers across North America.
The People Behind the Brand
Joe Bucher isn’t just a name on a lure. He’s a Hall of Fame angler, author of six books, video producer, and YouTube host. As the creator of Musky Hunter Magazine, co-creator of the Musky 360 app, and long-time field editor for Fishing Facts Magazine, Joe has shaped modern musky fishing. For over 31 years, he’s also hosted the Fishing With Joe Bucher TV series. Every lure Joe designs is tested on the water, refined through experience, and built to perform when it matters most.
Fun Fact:
The Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame once awarded a rare and prestigious title known as Hall of Fame Legendary Angler. Only a select group of anglers ever earned this elite designation and it is no longer given out today. That means the individuals who hold this title are part of a truly exclusive and permanent class in freshwater fishing history.
